The original Rattler roller coaster opened at Fiesta Texas on March 14, 1992. Initially featuring a first drop of 166 feet and top speeds of 65 miles per hour, Rattler was the tallest and fastest wooden coaster in the world. The original Rattler took its last voyage on August 4, 2012 and would transform into the hybrid Iron Rattler roller coaster that stands today.
The Rattler logo is based off its original iteration from the park's 1992 opening season map.
